Aspen, Montreal, New York, and London
How We Met
It's been a wonderful, whirlwind journey since early 2022, when we first met in Aspen — introduced by David's cousin and one of Hannah's closest friends, Julia (Lund) Regan, on the very first day of his ski season. What seemed like an unlikely beginning quickly began to feel like something more, as we stayed in touch as David continued on his gap year.
When the time came to reunite in South Carolina that summer, David had committed to spending the year in Canada — and being back on the same continent felt like all the green light we needed. The four and a half years since have taken us from Canada to Aspen to New York to our current life together in London.
In December 2025, on Hannah's 30th birthday, David proposed in the place where it all began — Aspen, Colorado. That full-circle moment, in Hannah's hometown, now carries forward to David's: Cape Town. Over the years, Hannah has come to love Cape Town as a home away from home, and we couldn't be happier to share this extraordinary corner of the world with so many of the people we love.
While we legally got married on March 21, 2026, we are so excited to officially start this chapter with our family and friends, over a weekend of non-stop festivities. We are so honored to celebrate this chapter with you, and we cannot wait to see you in February.
